Harfield Village Carnival

It’s almost time to close down Harfield Street , grab a margherita and a bit of sushi, and enjoy the Harfield Village Carnival. Saturday 28 November, thousands expected. Oo-er!

Couchies get attention

Couchies are clearly snuggling their way into the hearts of the people. All over the land, they are being reported as being highly suitable companions for deserving citizens.

See them featured in the Kriss Miss Moss Gift Guide .

Market Day in Tamboerskloof

Tis the season of fetes, bazaars, fairs and all of that pre-Christmas year-end milling about on grassy patches among tents and tablecloths and cupcakes. I love it!

This Saturday, folks, come one come all!

Couchie Stories

What has Tilly De Touid Snifferton Couchie been dreaming about? You’ll have to ask her new home-provider, Heather Moore of Skinny La Minx, who has successfully integrated Tilly into the family through use of dream therapy. Have a look on Skinny La Minx now.

In other Couchie news, 2 newcomers have arrived in the shop today. Please welcome Jubilee Tangleton Couchie and Zoda Viola Snifferton Couchie.

Jubilee is 20 times faster than anyone she knows. Sometimes she is so fast that it may seem as though she is not moving at all. She has been known to use her ability for good (catching coffee mugs, cupcakes and slices of toast as they fall) and bad (having way more than her quota of chips, popcorn and strawberries). She is very food-orientated.

Jubilee Tangleton Couchie

Zoda Viola is preoccupied with insects. She finds them to be the most fascinating form of life. Especially ants and termites, whom she can gaze at for hours, wondering at their determined business. She has drawn up blueprints for a Couchie colony based on a termite mound design and is currently looking for a suitable building contractor.

Hangin in Kalk Bay Quarter

Here are some fun collages I’ve been working on. They can be found at Kalk Bay Quarter (Main Rd, Kalk Bay) as of today! I have taken some shelf space there and what makes it really cool is that I will be able to display my work as I please . I have a nice idea for a backdrop already.

Here is how the shelf looks at the moment. Watch this space!

Couchie Party

For as long as I have been making Couchies, I have been meaning to feature them in a cartoon style story of their own. But this past week my 12 year old niece beat me to it when she and my sister stayed with us. Here is her terribly cute and lovely Couchie Party.
